Marium Bria- March 7th I’m really excited to have Marium come play! We met at a songwriter night last fall. She’s a wonderful person and talented beyond belief. Mere pixels below this text is a player for some of her songs. So you can listen while you read. (I know how you multi-taskers are.) I think she’s the perfect choice to help welcome spring back with a house concert.

Marium Bria has been a singer/songwriter since she was climbing trees in her backyard; OK, she still climbs trees in her backyard but you won’t hold that against her when you listen to her rootsy, soulful voice sing some of the sweetest tunes in folk music today.

As with all the artists I post here, please go give Marium a listen and check out her artwork she has posted.  And check out a live performance.

We’re currently working to nail down a date for Wilbur By The Sea from Huntington. And before I go to much further, that’s two WV acts! Here’s his bio from ReverbNation:

Wilbur By The Sea, the moniker of indie-folk songwriter Sean Knisely, is from a chance encounter along a road far from home. Placed curiously on a Florida road sign with no further explanation, it came to embody the wanderlust that later led Knisely to leave his hometown in West Virginia and follow his passion for music. After recording a collection of earnest and vulnerable acoustic songs in his apartment, he left his TV director job and hit the road to start following his dreams.

June 8th: The Parlor Soldiers- We just started talking today, and that’s what got me to thinking this page needed updated. But, WOW! Once you’ve gotten to this point of reading, the different styles of these artists just puts a big smile on my face. The Soldiers are unique and fun, classic, dirty, beautiful,…Hot Damn!
